亚行行长表示对中亚学院的未来充满信心

ADB president expresses confidence in future of CAREC institute

亚洲开发银行（亚行）行长中尾武彦昨天参加中亚区域经济合作学院（中亚学院）成立仪式并发表讲话。

Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Takehiko Nakao participated in the inaugural ceremony of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Institute yesterday.

中尾表示，随着CAREC各成员国间的区域合作迈向新阶段，他对中亚学院这一新成立的政府间组织在推动CAREC计划发展方面将要发挥的重要作用充满信心。

Nakao expressed confidence in the important role the new intergovernmental organization would play in the development of the CAREC program, as regional cooperation efforts among member countries enter a new phase.

“亚行将满怀欣喜地继续支持中亚学院发展成为CAREC区域的研究、知识和能力建设中心。”中尾说。

“ADB is pleased to continue supporting the Institute in becoming a center of research, knowledge, and capacity building in the CAREC region,” said Nakao.

中亚学院最初于2006年以“虚拟体”运作，目的是为基础设施建设、贸易和经济走廊、农业与自然资源管理领域的区域合作提供支持。

The CAREC Institute was originally developed as a “virtual entity” in 2006 to support regional cooperation in infrastructure development, trade and economic corridors, and agricultural and natural resource management.

经2014年CAREC第十三次部长级会议决定，中亚学院实体基地在乌鲁木齐落户。

Following the decision of the 13th CAREC Ministerial Conference in 2014, the Institute’s physical base was established in Urumqi.

微软与华为开展新战略合作

Huawei and Microsoft embark on a new strategic cooperation

微软与华为日前在HUAWEI CONNECT 2017大会上签署云服务战略合作备忘录，宣布达成云战略合作伙伴关系。

At HUAWEI CONNECT 2017, Huawei and Microsoft recently signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Cloud Service, and Microsoft applications will be released on HUAWEI CLOUD.

双方将在公有云领域开展深度合作，在为企业提供最佳云服务体验的同时，共同助力企业客户实现数字化转型。

The two companies will initiate an in-depth cooperation on the public cloud to provide the optimal experience of cloud services for enterprises and help enterprises implement digital transformation.

微软公司资深副总裁、大中华区董事长兼首席执行官柯睿杰表示,微软与华为在云计算领域不断深化的战略合作，将以开放创新的技术合作、无缝衔接的软硬件平台、全球领先的服务体系，助力中国及全球企业客户共赢数字化转型的新机遇。

"Our increased collaboration will drive innovation as we build a seamless platform to benefit customers through industry-leading technology,"Alain Crozier, CEO of Microsoft China said.

PayPal unveils two major value-added services in China

PayPal日前在深圳举办了以“携手新支付，共赢新丝路”为主题的第六届PayPal中国跨境电商大会。

PayPal hosted its sixth annual Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference themed ‘New Money, New Journey’in Shenzhen recently.

2016年，中国跨境电商交易总额达到人民币6.3万亿元，同比增长近23%。

In 2016, China’s total cross-border e-commerce trade volume reached RMB 6.3 trillion, an increase of approximately 23% over the previous year.

根据PayPal-Ipsos发布的《第三届全球跨境贸易报告》，中国在2016年首次成为全球网购消费者最喜爱的海淘国家。

According to the third annual Cross-Border Commerce Report released by PayPal and Ipsos, in 2016 China was cited by those surveyed as the most popular cross-border online shopping destination for global online shoppers for the first time.

在今年的跨境电商大会上，PayPal为中国跨境电商带来了“快速情景支付”和“PayPal商户微信账号”两项全新推出的增值服务，进一步帮助中国商户提升业务竞争力。

At this year’s Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference, PayPal introduced two new value-added services--In-Context Checkout and PayPal Merchant WeChat Account--for Chinese cross-border e-commerce merchants to help them strengthen business capacity.

PayPal总裁兼首席执行官Dan Schulman表示，中国是PayPal至关重要且业务稳健的市场之一。我们对中国商户拓展全球业务的决心以及跨境电商行业所拥有的巨大发展潜力深具信心。

"China is a strong and important market for PayPal. We believe in the global aspirations of Chinese merchants and the power and potential of cross-border e-commerce," Dan Schulman, PayPal’s President and CEO said.

乐高玩具发布新品系列

LEGO Toys has launched new products

乐高玩具近日发布多款2017下半年度新品系列，各大经典产品线都推出全新主题故事和套装。

LEGO Toys has released multiple new franchise of products in the latter half of 2017, each classical product line has launched brand new theme stories and sets recently.

问世7年来深受小朋友喜爱的乐高幻影忍者系列，今年8月起陆续推出乐高幻影忍者大电影同款新品，高度还原电影场景与经典忍者角色，带领小朋友展开新的忍者冒险。

The 7-year-old NINJAGO franchise which is popular among kids are releasing new LEGO NINJAGO Movie products, it recaptures movie scenes and classical Ninja characters, beginning a new Ninja adventure together with children.

乐高玩具日前还与迪士尼、漫威及DC三大电影巨头合作，推出乐高方头仔第一季共计12款新品。

Recently, LEGO Toys has been working with three movie giants, Disney, Marvel and DC, and has launched the first season of LEGO Brickheadz which includes 12 new products.
